In And Out

She fell asleep eventually,
Giving in to fatigue finally,
Grabbed the moment to rush and shower
‘Mommy?’ shrieked my curious flower
‘’Mommy showering, hold on Ally”

is there ever a moment that is truly your own... even if they are sleeping... it would be my bet your thoughts are with them.....

I remember the days my niece used to exhaust me. Now she's 13--spent yesterday with her and her mom. It was the later who has my eyes at half mast today--going to challenge her and my best friend's sister to "most hyper person in America"

Thank you for the more than kind comments.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have an incredible 2008

It's great to be beginning to know you :)

Oh this is so sweet :) There will come a time I'm sure, when you'll miss these moments.

I remember once, probably about a year ago now, that I was in the shower, and all of a sudden my nephew threw back the curtain and in his ridiculously cheerful voice was all "Hi MeMe!" He scared me, as I didn't know: a) that he was awake or b) that he could get doors open. It seemed no one knew he could get doors open, so when he left his Mommy and Daddy, neither of them thought twice about it. But as his Daddy stood in the hallway yelling at him to let me finish my shower and to get out there, well, we all were well aware of what he was capable of then. :)

Sorry I didn't get here sooner: never realized you posted!
