I love your limerick, but I gave up New Year's resolutions years ago.
It seems that the amount of time that the "resolution" was in effect became shorter and shorter. After awhile I knew I wasn't so "resolved" after all!
Marvelously done. And for being able to make it a two-fer...I raise a toast to you.
Great how it fit with both themes. Brought a grin to my face, too.
