Journey

the river flows yonder-
gushing with energy
travelling with speed
very much like life, in
pursuit of the unknown

unable to stop yearning,
this need to get entangled
with everything worldly
she hushes and rushes
to be intimate like lovers

when waiting is finally over,
and the goal appears nearer
with happiness within her grasp
inevitable joining but a clasp
why victory still seems unclear?

Victory is unclear
Because the travel is a pursuit
of the unknown.

Well done

Thanks for stopping by: it's good to see you around again! :)

Rush, rush, rush and then you die? Seems like we all rush perhaps a bit too much in life?

I feel the movement in this piece - the seeking and the 'miss'. Very nice!

Both of us chose to explore the place where the river ends. I really like the idea of being tangled with all things worldly.

Its beautiful! :) Glad to see you back..

I absolutely LOVED the last 5 lines:

"when waiting is finally over,
and the goal appears nearer
with happiness within her grasp
inevitable joining but a clasp"

why victory still seems unclear?
