Spring

her chin held high:
tempting, luring, tickling -
‘touch-me-not’ air.

blooms dance,
at grasping distance:
eyelashes flutter.

fresh innocence:
weaving dreams unforeseen
brimming confidence.

The first stanza is great with the alliteration skipping the tongue along.

This is a love poem, to me. I love the confidence and strength in it, and the flirting playful air.

great poem, I must have said that a lot but that's all I can think of and it is great.

I'm wondering why spring is often refer to as a female but somehow it seem to be right.

Spring as a flirt. Very good, I particularly liked the second stanza.

This is really beautiful - so spring, so sprite-ish. Lovely.
