I'm always spending time looking for things I've misplaced, possibly because I didn't realise I'd need them again soon. These few words spoke to me.
Read it twice.Understood it (or at least i think i did) the second time.
Call me crazy, but I thought when I first clicked over that you were literally talking to me. Seems like the title of your piece was exactly how I was feeling today.
Now this really spoke to me, cos i'm always trashing things away and then bingo...

You never know what you have (or need in this case) until it's gone; wise words said again and again.
so true, be careful what you throw away..., there's a good environmental message in there too
if you only knew how true this was in my life... i am forever throwing away things i will eventually need.... and saving things i never need!!!!!!
Story of my life!
This poem shows precisely why I think twice (perhaps more) when I want to throw something away. Great job! :)
That's why I am "Chaotically gifted"
If you keep it all, you can never lose it...Right????
