Eavesdropping!

Naïve gossip at the train station
Spurred this colorful imagination
“Mom, see those rocking butts?”
“Goodness Amy, are you nuts?”
Mother and daughter, no hallucination!

I forgot something...may I link to your blog? If so, please let me know on my blog.

Some people are particular about who links to them...that is why I ask?

Thank you.

Lovely!

My brother's four-year-old son was with him on a city street (many years ago) as they walked up to a crosswalk and waited behind a Hell's Angel looking man. Big biker guy with tattoos and studded leather. The four year old points and says, quite loudly, "Daddy, why is that man so FAT?!?"

Ahh, children.

What a picture you just painted! Actually it would need quite a lot of paint!

My children say stuff like this all the time much to my mortification and dismay! Makes for good laughs later though, I suppose.

Rocking butts? That's really good. Your poem was very fun and lighthearted today.

One day my mom took my daughter (then 4 or 5) through the drive thru at McDonald's when she leaned out the window on the passenger's side and said, "Hey Buddy, move your da@$ truck!" My mom was naturally embarrassed but, the guy ahead was laughing. Hope you have a nice weekend.

I think there could be a thousand blogs filled with all the hilarious things kids say. They're so naively honest :)
