It floated down,
from ton feet high.
Seemed a wish,
to this useless eye.
Caught in my palm,
yes did I.
Opened the fist,
and oh surprise.
Nestled a feather,
misplaced from sky.

The things that fall out of the sky often seem to be nothing more than a wish our heart has made.
Welcome to 3WW :)
what a pleasant poem to read.
Very cool rhyme, I like it.
Thanks folks, comments and criticisms most welcome.
I always wonder where the feather came from, and if the bird who lost it noticed it gone.
Rhyming poems are always more difficult for me. Excellent job.
Thank you Bone.
Your poem was so sweet. I loved the image here. Keep up the good work.
